"I think that colleges and universities should attempt to make them selves 100% accessible to any student who wishes to attend regardless of economic situation. For low income students, they could charge tuition on a geared to income basis or provide financial assistance where it is lacking. More scholarships are also a definite must."

Being from a low or mid economic class is a great barrier to higher ed. - not just in terms of being able to afford college, but also in terms of the extent to which one's prior educational experiences (formal and informal) have prepared one for college, one's attitude towards the future / confidence about one's ability to "succeed." And Yes, Real diversity includes class diversity."
