"The elections are so clearly smothered in class; it makes me crazy it's not a consistent part of the conversation and debates!"
"Issues of social class are very evident in this election. To see a presidential nominee that had a single mother who was on food stamps is very eye opening. This candidate is the true meaning of rising up in our so called classless society. I honestly cannot believe that the other candidate and his 7 homes even has a chance. AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!!!"
"It seems that the wealthy are still looking out for themselves and trying to find the best solution for the wealthy and not the majority of Americans. Class issues are definitely and underlying piece of the up coming election with the candidates wanting you to think that they are in touch with middle America but the fact is they have not been in our shoes for quite some time and it seems that it is very easy to forget the troubles of middle Americans and look out for the interests of the wealthy. I know that we all want what is best for our particular situation but if you do in the middle class and working Americans, our country could fall apart."
"Reaganomics has reached maturity. Borrowing your way to financial success. Trickling down to the empty pockets of the current and future generations to the economic middle class. There is no more to give. Social security, 401k's, 403B's the elimination of defined benefit pensions. Salary freezes and benefit reductions, reducing levels of compensation for those that are working. Under employment, PhD's working in the service industry. Layoffs and unemployment reaching into the lives of the economic upper middle class. The economic upper middle class that has never been threatened with financial failure is now at risk. They will vote and many for the first time."
